We welcome You warmly on our site,
I have always loved animals, among which I have particularly adored giant schnauzers and always dreamed to have one for myself. Every single dog exhibition that I went to, I used to end up by the ring for giant schnauzers. Within this breed I have mostly admired dogs with docked tails and cropped ears. As it occurred later, they all came from "z Tartaku" kennel.
CELIE Bokamaro, was the first female in our kennel. We got her from Małgorzata Kamińska - Jesterland kennel. I am still very grateful for this amazing girl. She was a beautiful, black giant schnauzer, which at home we used to call Farta.
After some time we made our little herd bigger by adding another giant schnauzer female STASHA Rapa Nui, the daughter of a charming NEFRA Nanda Devi (special thanks to Majka).
Therefore we had two dogs of the same breed but with very different characters. Calm and even-tempered CELIE Bokamaro (Farta) and contrarily STASHA Rapa Nui an endlessly crazy everlasting puppy.
One day I was bestowed with a salt and pepper miniature schnauzer, only this time it was a boy - FAJNY FACET CorigentiaFacet is an extraordinary dog. He gives us lots of joy and many victories on dog exhibitions. In fact, since the first exhibition in Łódź, where he participated, we have experienced for real the magic world of dog exhibitions.
In 2004 another two dogs joined our family. The first one HIGH LIFE Corigentia is a brother of Facet (same mother; different father). My special thanks here go to Katarzyna Tuszyńska. The second one is a salt and pepper miniature schnauzer female Sasquehanna WALERIANA - Wala (special thanks to Małgorzata Supronowicz)
We were happy that there were already 5 dogs in our herd – two giants and three miniatures.
In these circumstances we had to face the issue of naming our kennel but to be honest – I had no idea how. Our friends tried to help by inventing different names but I wasn't convinced with any of those. None of them reflected adequately our kennel. Finally thanks to our friend Gocha who knows latin language, we found the name that suited perfectly. We decided to call our kennel - Supra Cetera (which means a perfect masterpiece-beyond any other). I thought, that was the name I was looking for.
In 2005 I mated my giant female CELIE Bokamaro with ONTARIO z Tartaku and hence on May the 3rd we had our first litter. We named the puppies with the initial letter "G". There were three boys and five girls.
One of the girls from this litter GEORGINIA Supra Cetera, thanks to her owners (Mr and Mrs Solecki), managed to win Young Champion of Poland in only three months. All of the other puppies from this litter went to good hands. One of the females lives in Sweden and helps a disabled girl. I keep in touch with all of them and occasionally meet them.
The passing year was supposed to be dedicated to new matings and litters however my friends decided oppositely and made me take another dog. On January the 19th of 2006 DRZAZGA z Tartaku was born. March the 18th was the day of her arrival at our home. It was a very joyful day as our herd got bigger again.
In the spring we have decided to mate Farta with Antek (Ontario z Tartaku) as we loved the puppies from the previous litter of the same mating. Moreover we wanted to leave one of Farta's girls for us. And so on June the 3rd of 2006 eight puppies were born – two boys and six girls. They were all so extraordinarily beautiful that we did not know which one to choose. Luckily I know a person conversant with this issue. (Karolina, thank you so much for your help, you really have an eye for dogs). Therefore HANAA Supra Cetera joined us.
After some time I have decided to add another breed – Whippets. In a short period of time we had 3 whippet females. All of them came from Małgosia Kamińska's Jesterland kennel (formerly Bokamaro), just like my first giant schnauzer did. Fourth whippet – a boy – also came from Małgosia Kamińska even though he originally comes from Airy Elf's kennel.
My life partner Sławek helps me continuously and accepts my ideas. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't make it with all of the obligations that regard running the kennel.
Since it's very beginning, our "little" herd got a lot bigger. This brings us happiness, satisfaction and pride. Our dogs won excellent awards and received great titles. Running a kennel requires constant sacrifice and hard work. Dogs must be prepared for each exhibition perfectly, you have to take care of their teeth, hair and general physical condition. Dogs need to obey and must be taught how to present themselves on the ring in the best possible way. Schnauzers have long hair which requires lot of attention. Our friend Karolina (the owner of Ontario z Tartaku and a veterinarian) is the best groomer and takes care of our dog's hair. We are very thankful for all these years of grooming. If you'd like to have a healthy and perfectly groomed dog, we truly encourage you to contact her tel. 004822-872-04-80(www.sznaucery-reproduktory.com).
So this is what our kennel looks like. I think it's already pretty big and for now we plan to leave it this way.
